Tau`s Cafe & Lassi Bar in Gurugram (Gurgaon)

I have tested Chole Bhature it was so testy so I recommend Tau's cafe and lassi bar

Perfect place for family, friends outing for lunch and dinner with good quality of food with reasonable price....taste of paneer paratha with pickle and butter is mouth watering and one paratha is sufficient for a person due to very large size...feeling happy after having dinner

We had ordered kadhai paneer and tawa chapati.. which was not good, I was expecting more from this restaurant.. One bowl of kadhai paneer is not sufficient for two persons. Interior is good.

Great service & great food as usual. Haven't had any dull moment in the last 5+ years I have been visiting this place.

If you want home like food outside, there is no better place than Tau''s Cafe in Gurgaon. I have not eaten better mutton than this in long long time. Onion and hari pudina chatney served with food add to the awesome experience. Another must try here is "Chaanch" which is as desi as it can be.I have been here few times now, quality of food is always super, fulkas served here give home like feel.

Aloo paratha and lassi was good. The mooli paratha, not so good tbh. Although for an average person, the size of 1 paratha is enough for 1 meal. Ambience was ok. Way better than some other places actually.

The food at taus was delicious.Staff was courteous and very helpful

Poor services..staff not courteous. Food was warm rather than being served hot. Steward was blunt with replies and helpful enough while making choices

This place is not very fancy or high-fy staff but if you are starving and want to taste Desi food I would recommend this place.

The place is a mix of fine food and some Desi feelChicken Kali mirch is must try.

Today first time we ordered.My son Sahil Malik ordered Butter chicken and fried rice.I shifted from Dwarka to Gurugram last year.Tried a few eateries but couldn't find the one I was looking.My Son Akhil Malik suggested TAU but I was a bit hesitant as I too belong to the community where elder brother is always TAU.The food came and I loved it but one negative point....curry was less 😊

Super Food, Simple and Sober Atmosphere for families and couples!

Overhyped place. Quality not worth. If you order Mango lassi, then please be careful, you will be served a day old material.

I recently went to this place for breakfast. They have tried to give a local Haryanvi feel as far as the ambience is concerned. The service was good. I ordered Gur lassi and Aloo pyaaz paratha (which is my favorite). I will not say that it was the best paratha that I have ever had but it was definitely good, I mean really good. Gur lassi was something that I wanted to experiment and it turned out to be good. The price was also pretty reasonable. So all in all this place is definitely worth trying out if you want try some Desi cuisine.

Nice place to hangout tasty food served

Loved the ambience of this place though I was expecting a proper desi style. I tried Khamba #lassi, chilled and sweet, which was satisfying. Also ordered #paneer, #daal, #mashroom sabji and butter roti. The butter was roti was below expectations. It wasn't properly applied on the rotis. The management can look at it and try to bring some improvements. The desi style for which I came, wasn't visible.I had also ordered special thali. Being a Haryanavi themed place, the ghee on the roti was so less that it looked like the restaurant ran out of ghee. It was hardly visible on roti.

Tau's cafe has been serving quality food and every time we go I found taste of food is superb and they maintain quality also. Amazed to see fresh strawberry in strawberry lassie also veg kathie rolls are awesome.

An old and establishesd eating joint in ansal plaza Gurgaon. Stays open till late. Mostly known for its lassi and parathas. Very pocket friendly.

Very rude & cold staff.. A few items are okay but not worth a visit.. Its funny to see that they dont know that not only food but the behaviour matters too.. Pathetic.. Not coming back..

Amazing cafe for parathas, chai and lassi. If you love to eat these then this ia must try place, even if its far, you should give a try. It's on the ground floor and has a good seating capacity.

This cafe always comes first in my mind when i go to palam vihar. I have been there 2-3 times and would love to go there again. I have tried kadhai paneer,roti ,honey chili potato,mango lassi. I must say u should try Mango lassi and honey chili potato once 😋 . I was also satified with the service nd bill too. Good food at good price.

Love this place. Been here many times and tasted almost all of the items in the menu. Each item is worth trying and won’t disappoint you. Yes, there are quite a few which might don’t serve your taste appetite bit its applicable to all the restaurants.

Very basic no frills cafe. The Khanna is tasty and the service is good. We like going there.....

I will recommend the place just for the experience of the village type cafe not that much good as the hype .Service is good but not great. The quantity and quality are also not great .But price is very is very low which is the only positive.
